A bankroll is the budget set aside for gambling. Managing it means setting spend limits in advance and not exceeding them, to play safely.
Also known as: gambling budget
Definition
A bankroll is the amount you decide to dedicate to gambling, kept separate from money for expenses and needs. Bankroll management means setting a budget, a proportionate stake and loss/session limits in advance, and sticking to them.
No bankroll management changes the house edge or makes gambling profitable: it only keeps it a sustainable form of entertainment. It is a pillar of responsible gambling. Only play what you can afford to lose. 18+.
